Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

7k Metals is proud to release an exclusive, Miles Standish-designed coin series dedicated to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the monument which represents the lost, the fallen, and the valiant soldiers who defended the United States of America throughout its history.

The first in this series is a one-ounce silver coin showcasing the Tomb itself. The 2-ounce silver coin shows a member of the Honor Guard in intricate detail and color. The last of this series is a beautiful 5-ounce silver coin that shows the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in its entirety.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Guard Identification Badge is one of the highest honors a military officer can receive, and the mintage of this coin represents how many have been given out to date: 688.

While the reverse shows the colored ship in full speed in ultra-high relief the obverse tells the tale. You can see the route across the Atlantic including the point where the tragedy happened. Just a handful of artifacts from the Titanic have recovered. One of them is an authentic coal lump. This would have been used to power its massive steam engines. A certified piece of it is integrated into these coins! There will be a total of 5 different coins done in 3 metals. With this coin honoring the Titanic you get yourself a special relic of this historic event.
